Her family was by her side. Martha had been battling cancer for 14 years but managed to live a full and happy life up until the very last few weeks. She faced death philosophically, honestly, fearlessly and in good humour despite the struggle. This site would not exist without her huge contribution. Perhaps her greatest talent with regard to this site was her empathy with the people she related to, interviewed and wrote about.
